The comments arent loading on gen 3 iPad. Makes it basically unusable. Also, the app goes catatonic while the ad is loading, which is really annoying. Ok, just realized that there are pop up ads that cover the entire screen. As much as Ive used this app in the past its now history to me. Epic fail.

Love the content and app of past years but latest build pushes banner ads that automatically expand to full screen every minute. Im not reading them and trying hard to hit the X close button as fast as possible. Include an option to stop this nonsense or Im done using TC app.

Tech crunch has awesome news every day, and keeps me updated on tech news that you typically dont see in the news or in your science magazines. Definitely an app for those Nerds looking for something to pass the time.

Needs a watch app, if youre a news app without a watch app, its like investing in old tech. Maybe you need to upgrade before someone in tech does and scraps your profits.

The application has all the latest news and keeps me up to date with current market trends in IT.

Great tech news, authors understand the tech and sometimes its cultural impact. Sometimes the articles give you actionable news especially around cyber learning.

Tech Crunch is my first go to for tech news in the morning. It keeps me up-to-date with new information and rising trends. It is a must for anyone in education who tries to keep students conversant with all things tech. I use ideas and links from this site to challenge my students everyday.

Its a good and well informed app. The only issue is it crashes on certain articles. Other than that it would get 5 stars.

Best way to be informed with latest developments of tech industry

The app still does not support retina displays, which have been out for years now. For a tech publication app, thats pretty unacceptable.

The ads have gotten more persistent and annoying recently, which takes away from the user experience. Get rid of the ads, or if youre so much in need of money then add an in-app purchase to allow users to get rid of the ads.

Best Buy ads keep popping up full screen every 15 seconds. You start reading the first few words and then the texts shifts around to accommodate the image. There are random, unformatted headlines partway through each article. This has been going on for a year or more. I dont understand why AOL hasnt fixed this and why the devs havent noticed. TechCrunch content is great, but the app is bad.
